A new city centre restaurant and
in Chester – one of the UK's most attractive historic cities
Chester Northgate is the proposed regeneration of the north-west quarter of Chester city centre.
As part of a truly mixed-use scheme, the development's first phase will provide a 6-screen Picturehouse cinema, a new food hall and market, restaurants and cafés – all set around a new public square that's adjacent to the highly successful Storyhouse cultural centre with its 800-seat theatre and library.
A new 788-space multi-storey car park will also be built to serve the needs of this new city centre destination.
Future phases – designed around open pedestrian streets and public spaces – will integrate seamlessly with both Phase 1 and the existing city centre, and complete the mixed-use revitalisation of a significant area of the city centre.
